...to our COO Markus Rathmayer on being awarded a Doctorate in Science in Medicine. Always focused on providing an innovative solution that improves the quality of healthcare, Markus managed achieve his degree on top of his regular responsibilities.

His doctoral thesis "Improving the quality of cost calculation in gastroenterological endoscopy" published at Verlag Dr. Kovač GmbH has resulted in a unique data pool based on real world cost data sets of more than 70 hospitals from nine years. This has provided the basis to answer various research questions on health economics in the area of Gastroenterology in Germany.
